We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data our extensions access, how it is used, and what we do not do.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

Our extensions do not:

Collect, transmit, or store your personal data on external servers
Track your browsing activity or history
Share any information with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services
Require account registration or login credentials

2. Data Accessed Locally

To function, our extensions may read content on specific pages you are actively using (for example, a Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, or Salesforce tab). This access happens locally in your browser only and is used solely to perform the extension's on-screen function — filling a form, stamping a PDF, inserting a macro, etc.

This data is never sent anywhere outside your browser.

3. Local Storage

Some extensions save your preferences or custom content (macros, templates, settings) using chrome.storage.local or localStorage. This data:

Stays on your device
Is never transmitted to ZapFold or any third party
Can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing browser storage

4. Permissions

Each extension requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality. Where permissions allow reading page content (e.g., activeTab, scripting), this access is used exclusively to interact with the current tab at the moment of user action — not to monitor background activity.

5. Third-Party Services

Our extensions do not integrate with or send data to any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

If an extension operates within a third-party platform (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, Salesforce, etc.), your interactions with those platforms are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies, which are independent of ZapFold.

6. Children's Privacy

Our extensions are designed for professional and business use. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
